Boxing Action in Florida

30) Last night at the Coconut Creek Seminole Indian Casino, Coconut Creek,
Florida, in association with Warriors Boxing Promotions, there were
three women’s matches on the card. In a four-rounder, Jennifer
Mancil, 160, won by a unanimous decision over Kimberly Harris,
154 in a toe-to-toe slugfest. All three judges scored the match 39-37;
In a six-rounder, Belinda Laracuente, 136, won a unanimous
decision over Gina Greenwald, 133; and in a super-bantamweight
bout, Ada Velez, 120 won by a seventh round disqualification
over Leona Brown, due to excessive holding.
