Brown wins by a
Unanimous Decision

(APR 27) Last night on a a
Stele Promotions Card,
called the
"Showdown in Steel Town" women boxers Mississauga native Olga Heron
(3-0-0 (1KO) fought Lisa "Bad News" Brown in a four rounder on the
undercard.
This was a surprisingly competitive battle.
Olga seemed very confused and even hurt a couple of times in the first
round. Then she found her rhythm and started countering Lisa's attach.
Lisa was without a doubt the aggressor and won a unanimous decision by
40-36 on all score cards.
A terrific bout for female boxing in the Southern Ontario region. Lisa
"Bad News" Brown is a consummate professional - a WORLD CHAMPION, ready to
go against anybody, anywhere, anytime. Olga is the up-and-comer, ready to
make a name for herself. Last year these two ladies fought a spirited
exhibition that left fans wondering when they would do it for real.
(Olga's original American opponent was knocked out by strong words from
the World health Organization) If fatigue becomes a factor, it will not be
Olga slowing down. When Jodi Johnson fell out of this bout Olga personally
requested Lisa Brown as her replacement.
