No, No Excuses…..

(MAY 27) Since Mia “The Knockout” St. John decided to pass on the Rijker fight due to the fight not being televised----there have been some boxers wanting to get a shot at Rijker!  So why NOT Marischa Sjauw!

Both Rijker and Sjauw are from Holland, and Sjauw stepped up to the plate to offer up a challenge to fight Rijker on the June 8th card in Amsterdam---BUT Rijker's team chose Jane Couch. It seems like using Sjauw would have been a more economical course to go...but insiders told WBAN that Rijker wanted hometown advantage.

Well now that
St. John is going to put her fight on hold with Rijker for a more lucrative offering in the future----Sjauw, just as Anani  WANTS THIS FIGHT!

Sjauw’s team feels that it would be a neutral zone for both boxers who reign out of Holland, if they fought each other in Los Angeles (And if there are excuses that Rijker needs to clear out the cobwebs with some "soft" opponents, because she rarely fights and needs one of those "TUNA" fights...)  LET WBAN say that even though Sjauw is a multi-world champion belt holder, SHE (Sjauw) has not fought since October of 2001..... Rijker's last fight was February of 2001 - So BOTH boxers have not fought since 2001---hmmm....sounds like a good match.....

There are now TWO boxers (Sjauw, Anani), who are willing and able….to take on Rijker on the June 21st HBO card.

There will be NO excuses---Hopefully...NO Witherspoons, NO Bethany Paynes, NO Sherri Painters…

What about it HBO?...What about it....Rijker's Team?

WBAN has now posted two public challenges from TWO viable, competent, sellable, respectable boxers to mix it up with Lucia!  Why not go for it?  Give Boxing Fans a competitive fight between two boxers.....

WBAN POLL:  Will Boxing Fans see Lucia Rijker fight in June?
(MAY 26) Now it time for BOXING FANS to  have the floor on these two upcoming fights! All Comments and results will be posted on WBAN. What do you think, will we see Rijker step through the ropes this coming month?
